PRESIDENT'S LETTER

We are off to a great year.  The new Board for 2006-2007 has met and continued where Dennis' group finished up the year.

The first Chapter Meeting of 2206-2007 is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at the Tax Institute.  Members will be recognized for tenure in the Chapter as a part of the meeting.  Also, the CPA of the Year and Committee Chair of the Year will be awarded.  Plan now to support members and your local chapter.   Don't forget to register for the Chapter Meeting by calling 359-7929 if you are not already attending the Tax Institute.

FROM the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Thanks to everyone who is "trying out" the website and using it for information. Slowly but surely, it is more and more valuable to you as members.

Currently, we are developing a "classified advertising" area for advertising of employment opportunities, volunteer positions for local boards and much more.  Many have started using the website for registration and payment for the upcoming seminars.  Let me know easy/difficult it is to register and pay via the website.
