Chamber Board Receives Briefing On “Card Check”
In advance of their upcoming July 22nd Board meeting, members of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors participated in a conference call last week along with Chamber President Leslie Hielema and Mike Ketchum, Vice President of Public Policy for the Chamber, to receive a thorough “Executive Briefing” from U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Florida Chamber representatives on the status of the proposed federal “Card Check” legislation which would effectively end the secret ballot in union representation elections.
