Ever since the “Imperial Tombs of China” exhibit was presented by the Orlando Museum of Art several years ago, many Central Floridians have been fascinated with China. As one of only five U. S. cities selected for the exhibition, which until that time had never left China, Orlando residents and visitors were treated to the rich culture, history, craftsmanship and wonders of this ancient civilization. A similar exhibition, “The First Emperor: China’s Terracotta Army,” was featured at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta earlier this year.
