Florida Chamber Legislative Update
This week, crucial workers’ compensation attorneys’ fees reform passed the Florida House of Representatives, by a vote of 84 to 35. (See if your Representative voted for the bill.) This legislation will ensure that plaintiffs’ attorney fees are based solely on a percentage of the actual benefit awarded to an injured worker.
