Meet the Teen Voices Officers
:

 President: Grace Silva
Hey, I'm Grace Marie Silva, the president of the Teen Voices club at the Orange County Library System.  I've been in Florida for almost 14 years, I'm a native of Puerto Rico and I love to have fun!!!!  The high school I attend is Winter Park High.  I am on the girls flag football team and in the NJROTC program.  I invite you all to come to our Teen Voices club and speak out!

Vice President: John McConnaughy
A little bit about myself:  This is my second year being involved with the Teen Voices, I was one of the first memebers.  I attend the Aviation Magnet at Oak Ridge High School and have only half a semester left of being a junior (yay).  As part of the magnet curriculum we are getting our pilot's license and fly small single planes.
My interests include history, especially military history (I am even a Civil War reenactor) and science fiction.  I read a lot on both subjects.  I have also been known to play the occassional video game.  I try (and fail) to find the motivation to run on a daily basis
.

Secretary: Lauren Pryor
Lauren is a junior in the
Finance Academy at Boone High School.  Her passions are watching movies (Gladiator and Pretty Woman top her list of favorite movies), spending time with her very large extended family and faithful dog, Major, and hanging out with her best friends.
Along with these hobbies come two obsessions:  analog clocks (somehow the contstant ticking doesn't drive her crazy) and picture frames (every shelf in her room contains at least one photo).  Scrapbooking all fun and significant events in her life comes second nature to her now.
Lauren loves being a part of Teen Voices because it allows her to come together with other goal-oriented teens, who all feel privileged to be able to brainstorm ideas and plan events for the library and the community.
