Congratulations to Raquel Forrest (Our Family Center) who was appointed to the Salvation Army Board for the city of Hammond.

Duneland Community recently sold a home on their property and was also able to sell the old Chesterton Church property. These developments have helped greatly in reducing indebtedness. Congratulations to Pastor Neil and the congregation!

Keith Sullivan has recently been named Children’s Pastor at Fairmeadow Community. Keith is a student in the course of study and has a passion for Children’s Ministry. Congratulations Keith!

Matt White has announced that Vickie Maris has been added to the staff as Worship Minister at Lafayette First. Vickie works at Purdue University and will be doing the worship ministry parttime.

Hernano Osorio reports five new families recently added to Michiana Hispanic with attendance running 30-35.  They are starting a new teen service and the compassionate ministry work they are doing is a great point of contact.

Alberto Guang reports that his work as a chaplain to a major company in East Chicago is reaching Hispanic workers.  He has also developed a very positive relationship with the owner of the company who is asking to help with some of the needs at  East Chicago.

Claudio Morano who Alberto came in contact with some months ago is leading a small group that has been meeting in a home in Portage.  They will begin meeting at Portage Grace Church on January 23 for their first public worship service.
