PRAYER REQUESTS FOR YOUR ATTENTION
FROM THE DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT

Greetings friends! I was at the Planters/ReStart Pastors monthly Network meeting yesterday. I was struck by two things! 1. How God is working in some amazing ways, 2. How significant the challenges are in the midst of these days of ministry! I received an email this morning from a pastor asking for prayers because of the attack of the enemy. I’m sure I could multiply that over and over again. We should not be surprised…but we should be prepared…AND THE PREPARATION IS PRAYER!!

I urge you to give careful attention to your own prayer life…and the prayer life of your congregation. The development of prayer ministry should be the top priority for very church…and your top priority as the spiritual leader of the congregation. Satan will be everything possible to keep a pastor and congregation from prayer. How about it? Is there a prayer strategy in your congregation? Is prayer a significant part of your routine? We are no match for the enemy without the power and resources only prayer can give. Just do it!!!

Prayer resources abound. For beginning help if needed go to http://www.prayingpastor.com
