NAWBO Creates Connections
by Marilyn Bushey

From left to right: D' Forman, Gail McDonald, Marilyn Bushey, Megan Romboletti, Dawn Brinson and Teri Abram Last year we launched a new slogo (and a new word combining slogan and logo) of NAWBO CREATES CONNECTIONS and our March Spotlight on Corporate Partners is a perfect example of why we chose this slogo. This meeting gives us a chance to meet and connect with our corporate partners on a one-on-one basis. We will have the opportunity to meet potential prospects for our products and services and to find resources for products and services developed especially for small business owners, and, in some cases, specifically for women business owners.

Meeting for Results
by Marilyn Bushey

As women business owners we learn to structure in fun and rewards for ourselves and with that in mind D’ Forman and I arranged to have the mid year NAWBO planning session at Spa Panega in Arlington. The Spa hosted us in their lovely conference center on the second floor. We dined on delicious salads at tables decorated with tangerine colored tulips, and we strategized on some ideas to make the second half of our NAWBO year outstanding.
