Opening the February 9, 2004 meeting, Chapter President, Wendy Lopez recognized the Corporate Partners, her Board of Directors, and our visitors.

Joan Voeller, Vice President, introduced our speaker, Celeste Jonson, owner of Celeste Jonson International, Inc. is an expert at energizing and inspiring her audience to take control of their lives and take action.  The attendees of the February luncheon really felt and heard Celeste’ s enthusiasm as she continued to Pump up the Volume in this installment of a continuing the series of programs.

Celeste Jonson's informative and exciting presentation highlighted key qualities and strategies needed to become highly respected and effective leaders in this era where currency is defined by new ideas, new business models, and an ever-changing landscape. She inspired us all to reexamine refocus our energies, and recommit our spirit to leadership.

In her message Celeste conveyed her message that never before has the world been so greatly defined by perpetual change, ever-increasing challenges, and global influence. And never before has there been such a need for new responses, new perspectives, new approaches, and new solutions . . . new leadership!

Ms. Jonson's five no-fail strategies to lead with power and love it included the 'NAWBO' approach

N - Never neglect the fundamentals. Instead, DARE to be great with Discipline,
Act intentionally, Renew/Retool/Release, and Elevate the bar.

A - Always be true to yourself. Clarify your truth, your beliefs and spiritual
values. Operate in line with them. Locate your center, what's most important
to you and your priorities. Operate with integrity.

W - Womanize your business. Use your natural tendency to develop nurturing
relationships, connect to others, and affirm people.

B - Be more committed to the process than to the exact outcome. Lead and
grow people versus pushing or dictating to them.

O - Operate with passion and purposes! Your clearly defined vision must
be connected directly to your God given purpose and passion. Focus on
            making a difference.

Ms. Jonson completed her motivational presentation to the group with a song; she beautifully sang, "Dream the Impossible Dream."
