Corporate Partner Feature: UPS

In 2002, UPS spent more than US$131 million with
minority and women-owned firms. In 2003, UPS received the "Corporate Partner of the Year"
Award from NAWBO D/FW. In addition, NAWBO D/FW awarded UPS several "Above
& Beyond Awards" in the same year. UPS was also a sponsor of the
eighth annual NAWBO/WBC Golf Classic in October 2003.
UPS is also one of eight corporations noted by
WBENC for developing world-class quality in supplier diversity programs
featuring women-owned businesses. The
"Elite Eight" were recognized during a ceremony at the White House.
In addition, UPS was among Fortune magazine's 2002
Top 25 "Best Companies for Minorities." Minorities represent more than one-third of the company's U.S.
workforce of 330,000.
