NAWBO D/FW Member Benefits
Member Profile: Kimberly Sosa, C.P.A.

Kimberly Sosa, C.P.A. joined NAWBO D/FW in July 2003 and serves on the golf tournament committee. Kimberly joined NAWBO D/FW because she believes that women empower women. She wanted to be part of an organization that is designed for women to help each other.

Her company’s mission is to provide exceptional tax and accounting service to small and medium sized businesses by offering customized services to meet her client’s needs. She provides many services that go beyond the call of duty.

Kimberly prepares tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts.  She also provides financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services to small and medium sized businesses. “I enable my clients to focus on the operation of their businesses by offering a “pick-up” service. When my clients have grouped their documentation, one of my assistants or I will pick up the documents at the client’s location.”

And there’s more! “On selected days of the tax season, I will provide an added service to my clients by meeting with them at their location so they will not have to take additional time out of their schedule to come to my office.”

“One of the things I enjoy the most about what I do is helping other businesses to be more efficient and profitable. I receive so much gratification when one of my clients has called me to simply say, ‘thank you’.”

“Since I have joined NAWBO I have learned about many different industries by conversing with women in general conversation. This enables me to be well rounded and have a greater understanding as to how I can contribute to the benefit of another.” Kimberly explains.

When asked what brings joy in her personal life, Kimberly says, “My children bring me an infinite joy in my personal life. As a mom, I’m focused on nurturing my children’s emotional, mental and physical growth, and I’m amazed at how much they reciprocate that to me.”

Kimberly adds, “I support my church financially and make donations to the Pregnancy Help Center and Women’s Haven. I choose these charities because they respond to a woman in crisis.”

Please get to know Kimberly better at the next NAWBO D/FW event!
