Meeting Recap
by Joan Voeller

If you missed our speaker,Tom Niesen, at November's monthly meeting, then we recommend you ask a friend for a copy of her notes.  His workshop on "How to be your Own Best Salesperson" was one of the best of the year.

He provided us with very useful and easy to apply ideas on how to make sales calls. Tom gave us step–by–step ground rules to use when meeting with a potential client. He explained how to put yourself in the shoes of your prospect, to think and respond like your prospect and therefore be able to meet your prospects needs quickly and efficiently, to show how your product is exactly what the prospect needs.

The member feedback we received has been tremendous.  For example, one of our guests stated that the program covered just what she needed to know. She made a long overdo sales call the following morning, using Tom’s techniques and got a new client.  She became the newest NAWBO D/FW member immediately after that call!

Our next meeting in December should prove to one of the favorites in our "Pump up the Volume" Series.  Be sure to attend. Julie Garella, our speaker, is Co-Founder of McColl Garella, an investment-banking firm dedicated to women owned and managed businesses.  This program is for women business owners who want to substantially and strategically grow their business, increase company value, successfully evaluate strategy, and execute business alternatives.

This promises to be an excellent program, so bring a friend. She will thank you for it.
