Join us at the 8th Annual WBC/NAWBO D/FW Golf Tournament
by Golf Tournament Co-Chair D’ Forman

On October 27th, will you be staring at your computer screen or out on the green networking with prominent women business owners and corporate sponsors?

On the cool, crisp 27th day of October the 8th Annual WBC/NAWBO D/FW Golf Tournament, Tee Party and Silent Auction will be held at Brookhaven Country Club. Tee off is at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start to the Florida Scramble format. An awards dinner immediately follows play. And even if you’re not a winner in the tournament you still might win a diamond in a drawing held during dinner.

A Beginner's Tee Party Clinic and Practice Course Play will begin at 12:30 p.m. This event encourages those interested in golf but not yet proficient, to come and enjoy the networking while learning more about golf and practicing some techniques. The Tee Party has gotten rave reviews from participants in the past.

Golf isn't the only way to have fun during the event. It also includes shopping! A silent auction will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end during the awards dinner. Individual items and specialty packages which include items such as Elton John and Tom Cruise signed DreamWorks movie posters, tickets to Stars and Mavericks games, lunches with successful women business owners, designer jewelry, an original painting, spa treatments, gift baskets, and many dinner and entertainment options are available. Do your Christmas shopping early!

There are many ways to be involved. You can play golf or participate in the Tee Party or you can just come for dinner and networking. The entry deadline is October 13. Sponsorships are available, donate silent auction items or items for goodie bags. We would like to acknowledge corporate sponsors, which have already committed to participating. They include Jackson Walker, UPS, American Airlines, Belo, Fluor Global, LOPEZGARCIA Group, Verizon, Delta Dallas, Forman Group and ADP Total Source.

For more information or to receive an entry form, call the WBC Southwest at 817.299.0566.
