Member Profile: Jane Winge, SPHR

This month’s member spotlight is on Jane Winge, SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources, the highest level of accreditation available in the Human Resource professional), of HR Performance Plus. Her company provides Leadership Training, Teambuilding, Career Coaching, and facilitating strategic planning and other types of meetings. The company’s mission is to work with people to identify their gifts and develop to their full potential. Jane spends most of her time working with and calling on HR Directors and Managers, Credit Union Presidents, Non-Profit Association boards and Presidents of small, growing companies.

Jane joined NAWBO in the Detroit area in 1999 for the development opportunities and in order to support sister business owners. She indicates that she has learned a great deal about referral marketing and financial education as a result of her involvement with NAWBO. She enjoys seeing people’s faces light up when they find what they love to do or take it to a whole new level.

Jane has 17 years of human resources and training experience in the retail, healthcare, financial and manufacturing industries. She ran her business for six years in Detroit and moved to Dallas last November due to her husband’s new job at JC Penney. Jane is a Certified MBTI Practitioner by the Assoc. for Psychological Type (APT). She served on the boards for both the Greater Detroit Chapters of ASTD and APT. Her Master’s degree is from Central Michigan University in human resources administration and her Bachelor’s degree is from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in business administration.

When Jane is not working, she loves to travel, read, play volleyball and walk her Basset Hound, Sadie. She also supports charities that spread Christ’s love and develop children, because that’s what gave her a leg up in life. She commits to Rejoice Lutheran Church, Habitat for Humanity, Planned Parenthood, UNICEF and Jane Williamson-Winge DECA Marketing Scholarship at Wausau West High School.

Please join in welcoming Jane to our chapter. To learn more about Jane or HR Performance Plus, visit http://www.hr-performance-plus.com or contact her at 972.569.9911 or 972.658.4387. Jane is also a Mary Kay representative, and you can visit that website at http://www.marykay.com/jwinge .
