As a member of NAWBO D/FW, you are eligible to participate in the 2004 Mentor-Entrepreneur Program conducted by the North Texas Commission in partnership with the Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Business Development Council.

September 26th is the deadline to submit your application. The program is designed to nurture the professional development, productivity and overall success of small, woman and minority-owned businesses in the Dallas/Fort Worth area through the formation of a mentor-entrepreneur relationship with a suitable, larger or more experienced business. Businesses that have served as mentors in the program include: Bank One, Frito Lay, IBM, Kraft, SBC, Sears, Texas Instruments, UTA and Xerox.

To learn more about the benefits of this program and find out what other participants say about their experiences visit www.ntc-dfw.org/ntcprogrammentor.html.

Applications are available online and are due by September 26, 2003. Entrepreneurs must include a $50 application fee (refunded if you are not matched). You can also contact the program’s director, Shenia Brass, at 972.621.0400 or shenia@ntc-dfw.org.
