Marty McGee, Impressions Marketing
by Debra Alexander

Marty McGee joined NAWBO in January of 2003. She founded Impressions Marketing with the mission of providing appropriate, creatively chosen promotional products that are on time, on budget, and done right the first time. Impressions Marketing provides Promotional Products, Corporate Apparel, and Awards to Mid-sized to Large Corporations and Non-Profits.

Marty joined NAWBO in order to network with and prospect for potential clients and referrals, and to develop a network of business professionals with whom she can discuss business ideas, issues, and concerns. She has already joined an E-myth Mastermind, and is developing relationships with other successful businesswomen to share ideas that may lead to new or better ways of operating her business.

Marty says that she loves the entrepreneurial aspect of being a business owner. She enjoys thinking about the ‘what if’ and enjoys watching those dreams become reality. She also enjoys developing systems to streamline the order process, improve sales and customer service, and monitor and evaluate her company’s performance. She says it is a real thrill to see the systems working together creating synergy.

In her personal time, Marty enjoys writing and is currently working on her first novel. She is also an avid cook, gardener, and Blues fan. She supports CITY House (Collin Intervention to Youth), which is the only emergency shelter for teens in Collin County. Marty has served on the board for several years (President, Past President, Vice President, and Committee Chair). She believes it is important for those who have been blessed with so much to use their skills and resources to give back to the communities in which they live. While she is not able to work directly with the kids, she has a tremendous impact on the lives of others by helping the agency raise awareness, resources, and operate in an efficient, businesslike manner.

Marty enjoys getting involved in the organizations that she supports and is looking forward to meeting and networking with more NAWBO members in the near future.

You can reach Marty at 972-424-5454 (work), 972-989-6748 (cell) or via email at marty@logo-advertising.com. You can also visit her website at www.logo-advertising.com.
