NAWBO One day State Legislative Session in Austin

Agenda: 10:00 a.m. How to lobby effectively presented by David Pinkus, Small Business United

10:45 to 12:30 p.m. Senate & House legislators will speak on topics of interest to us as WBO's (women business owners). David will work with a Houston NAWBO member to determine who will talk to us. If any member has suggestions on topics, bills, and speakers please email Sallie Mullins Thompson at smt@wt.net

12:45 to 2:00 p.m. Lunch -maybe at the Capitol Cafeteria

After 2:00 p.m. Meeting with respective lawmakers (appointments to be made in advance by each attendee.

Members from our San Antonio and Houston will join those of us from the Dallas chapter for this event. We have 6 members presently going from the Dallas chapter.
