On October 21, 2002, the DFW Chapter of NAWBO, in conjunction with the Women’s Business Council Southwest, held its 7th Annual Golf Classic. The tournament was played at the beautiful Brookhaven Country Club, with lots of sunshine as the order of the day. More than 100 golfers participated in the scramble, in addition to the 30 participants in the Tee Party.

ExxonMobil’s team took first place in the event and Retta Miller’s Jackson Walker team came in a close second. The event raised more than $28,000, including a record amount from the Silent Auction, which both organizations will use for operating funds.
