NurseJean, LLC

Jean Biacsi, RN, MBA, CHE, founded NurseJean, LLC with the mission and goal of improving the healthcare experience for consumers individually and in employer groups.  To do this, her company provides healthcare education, consultation on insurance options, guidance in interpreting healthcare information, and assessment of the quality of care being delivered.  NurseJean targets employers seeking to reduce the unpredictability of their healthcare costs; consumers engaged in the healthcare system, senior citizens needing help with health insurance coverage, and anyone seeking unbiased advice on healthcare issues.

Jean joined NAWBO in 2001 to meet other women business owners, to network, and to mentor and be mentored.  She is involved in the annual luncheon planning committee and the membership committee. She credits NAWBO with keeping her ‘relatively sane through the insane process’ of trying to establish her own business.

Jean has been a healthcare executive and nurse for over 35 years, and currently serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Dallas and Texas Women’s University.  She is also a noted author and public speaker, and a former radio host.  To talk with Jean or learn more about NurseJean’s solutions, contact her at jbiacsi@nursejean.com or visit the company’s website at www.nursejean.com.  Jean can be reached by phone directly at 972.724.0687.

According to Jean, she experiences joy “When I know I have helped make someone’s healthcare experience less traumatic.”  She also experiences satisfaction in educating people to become more effective healthcare consumer.  In her personal life, Jean enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren and husband.  In addition to all of her professional and personal responsibilities, Jean will be starting a doctoral program at TWU in Health Studies.

Please join us in thanking Jean for her ongoing contribution to NAWBO and her endless pursuit of professional development.
