If you have an interest in more than one Committee, please number them in order of preference.
_____  Membership                       
Recruit prospective members, welcome new members, and encourage member  participation
through the following sub-committees: New Members and Retention. Generate monthly
newsletter articles on new and active Members.
 
_____  Programs                          
Plan and execute the yearly program schedule, select monthly program topics, arrange for speakers, create program agenda for monthly meetings, and write monthly article for newsletter.  Also plan special programs.  Time required is 3 hours per month.  

_____   Corporate Development
Retain existing Corporate Partners and recruit new ones. Ensure that NAWBO
and its CPs maximize their benefits to each other. Plan and participate in annual CP Spotlight Meeting/Trade Show and periodic CP Breakfasts.
 
_____    Public Relations                               
Proactively promote a positive image of women business owners, NAWBO and our chapter.  

_____    Education                             
Develop educational materials and programming by producing a  guide to local WBE educational
events, coordinating white papers for each monthly meeting, and planning and coordinating Lunch and Learn” seminars.
 
_____    Annual Event                     
Participate in the planning and tasks involved in preparing for the Annual Event including
sponsorship solicitation, marketing, public relations, registration, logistics, event planning and
more.  Committee meets up to once a month during the fall and winter, more often in the spring
and up to once a week just prior to the event in June
 
_____    Chapter Services/Mastermind                
Oversee Mastermind Groups in terms of membership and geographic diversity, and suggest topics
of discussion.
 
_____    Public Policy                    
Provide information to the membership about legislative and governmental issues that affect their
businesses and their personal lives.  Plan annual Public Affairs Luncheon.  Approzimately 45 minutes per quarter time commitment.
 
_____  Finance/Microlending               
Assist in analyzing chapter finances, developing financial goals, and creating budgets. Work with
other committees on fundraising, and money management.  Work with the microlending program  for our affiliated 501 (c)(3)
               
_____  Outreach               
Collaborate with other committees and community organizations to recruit, involve and retain members who reflecta rich diversity in ethnicity, size and type of business, etc.
 
_____   Awards                                 
Solicit, accept and generate nominations for local, regional and national awards.  Develop and
monitor award criteria and deadlines.  Prepare and submit award forms, order local awards and
plan the annual awards luncheon.
 
_____  Marketing                      
Promote NAWBO local chapter through various marketing efforts including monthly newsletter
content, website updates, various local expo participation, marketing material collaboration and more.
 
_____  Golf Tournament               
Participate in the planning of an annual golf tournament in conjunction with the Women's Business Council - Southwest for Corporate and WBE members. Volunteers are needed for Registration, Golfing, Tee Party, Silent Auction and Awards Dinner.  Work is usually spread over four months (July through October)
