“When you delight in the game, the effort seems unimportant.”  This month’s spotlight member, Linda Snyder, shared that quote with us, and it seems a perfect introduction to this energetic woman.  Linda’s business is Selling Direct Resources, originally established in 1997 (under a different name).  The company serves as a resource for “sales organizations wanting to grow their business and sales professionals wanting to sell more.”  Selling Direct Resources accomplishes this mission by providing workshops, presentations, coaching, consulting, tapes and books.
 
Linda knew of NAWBO before moving to the Dallas/Fort Worth area a year ago.  In her quest to associate with professional women with similar goals and aspirations, she found our organization on the Internet and joined right away.  She also knew that through NAWBO, she would find women with similar challenges and issues.  Linda believes in the philosophy that we get out what we put in to a group or organization, and she is ready to “put in.”  She serves on the Annual Luncheon committee and looks forward to a hugely successful event.
 
Linda receives joy when she sees a person’s life change positively as a result of her firm’s resources.  As she so eloquently says, “Life is about learning and growing, and when someone listens or reads and takes that information and makes a choice to make (his/her) life better, there isn’t anything that brings more joy than that.”  A perfect thought with which to end, Linda.  We welcome you to NAWBO, and look forward to sharing not only our experiences, but also ourselves and our businesses, with you.
