Member Spotlight
by Melissa Grimes

This month, we introduce another energetic and enthusiastic new NAWBO member, Darlene Ryan. Darlene started her company, PharmaFab,in 1994, with the clear mission to be the premier contract pharmaceutical manufacturer, and to be known for quality products, service and integrity. She describes her future vision as one in which, due to these qualities, both pharmacists and consumers will know of, and prefer, PharmaFab products.

Judy Griggs originally referred Darlene to NAWBO. Darlene's hope is to contribute to our organization by inspiring and motivating other women business owners. She believes in helping women achieve their goals, even while they “nurture and inspire their employees and families.” This, to Darlene, helps make the world a better place and is perhaps the greatest contribution of all.

Through NAWBO, Darlene anticipates meeting and getting to know other women with similar goals and interests. She relishes the exchange of ideas and the opportunity to learn fresh new ways to motivate her own staff.

Darlene’s joy in the workplace derives from the discovery that everyone involved in her business can win: her staff, herself and her company as a whole. She is committed to the idea that one need not win at the expense of another. Darlene, thanks for joining our group and for bringing your spirit of winning. We look forward to knowing you better and sharing our successes together.
