myregion.org Board Approves Phase III Organizational Structure
Phase II of myregion.org officially came to a conclusion on Friday, December 14, 2007, as the Board of Directors unanimously approved the Organizational Structure and Operating Policies for Phase III. They also unanimously approved the Officers and Board Members who will govern myregion.org during the next phase.

Congress of Regional Leaders Set Direction for 2008
During their final meeting of the year on December 10, 2007, Elected Officials from across seven Central Florida counties reaffirmed their commitment to jointly addressing issues of regional significance. The “How Shall We Grow?” Congress of Regional Leaders consists of city, county and school board representatives from the seven-county Central Florida region.

METROPLAN ORLANDO Sharpens Transportation Vision
METROPLAN ORLANDO recently began working on a new long range transportation plan for Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties. The 19-member board took a first big step by identifying a transportation vision for the year 2030, the target date for the long range transportation plan.
