SMART, QUALITY GROWTH...
IS IT POSSIBLE?
Transportation gridlock, lack of affordable housing, environmental decline – these are just a few of the problems that plague emergent metropolitan regions. As Central Florida continues to grow, relationships between housing and employment, transportation and development, and resources within individual public, private, and civic initiatives must be examined.

This is happening through the unveiling of the first ever Central Florida Regional Indicators Report, prepared by The Healthy Community Initiative of Greater Orlando in partnership with Real Estate Research for myregion.org.  This seven county “litmus test” will explain the region’s current status in the areas of Economic LeadershipEducationEnvironmentQuality of Life and Smart, Quality GrowthThe Central Florida Regional Indicators Report will establish a baseline, or set the bar for future efforts, enhancements and improvements for five of the region’s priority areas.
