The Killebrew Family – Pillar of Polk County
Sam Killebrew, Jr. The late Sam Killebrew, Sr., father of myregion.org’s Executive Committee member Sam Killebrew, will be inducted into the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame this week for his 1952 invention of a trailer that increased grove efficiency by eliminating the manual handling of fertilizer.
