 LEADERSHIP
 SPOTLIGHT

Larry Dale
Executive Committee Member
Co-Chair of Transportation, myregion.org
President & CEO
Sanford Airport Authority

"Central Florida is the only region in North America where five transportation modes come together in close proximity, those of air, sea, road, rail, and space. However, the region is limited in its east-west highway grid. With the rise of cruise travel, as a second major tourism draw in the region, new forms of transportation to the east coast may emerge. The dove-tailing of world-class theme parks and cruise holidays, along with Central Florida's four world-class airports may ultimately lead to greater connections between the coast and metropolitan Orlando."
