ASPA Panel to Discuss Smart Growth

The ASPA, American Society for Public Administration’s Central Florida Chapter, will host a panel discussion on Thursday, April 12 that will examine the results of the recent “How Shall We Grow?” survey.  Shelley Lauten, Program Director of myregion.org, will discuss the outcomes of the survey and cover the issues of smart growth, transportation planning as well as social marketing as they relate.

 

Also on the panel will be Raj Mohabeer of Glatting Jackson who will discuss Smart Growth Town Planning and Bill Burns of the City of Orlando who will discuss infrastructure planning for future visions.  Leesa Souto of UCF Stormwater Management Academy will complete the panel with a look at the social marketing implications of change.
