Meet the myregion.org Staff

Natasha McIntosh joined the myregion.org team in January. Natasha began her studies for a Masters Degree in Urban Planning and previously worked for the Metropolitan Planning Organization in Austin, Texas. After changing the focus of her studies, she graduated in 2004 with a Masters in International Development from the Universiteit van Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As part of her course work, she conducted a three-month independent field research project in Dubai, UAE where she studied trade networks between international informal African merchants and local commercial businesses in Dubai. The completion of this project culminated in receiving her Masters Degree.

 

Natasha comes to us with international management experience in international freight and publishing in addition to a varied professional background in real estate research, marketing and event planning. She is very active in the community as Public Outreach Director for Fair Trade for a Greater Orlando and United Nations Association USA YPIC Chair for Sustainable Development.
