Meet the myregion.org Staff
Nancy Francis was born in Georgia, but moved to the Cocoa Beach area, over 40 years ago with her family when her father took a job with NASA. She attended Cocoa Beach High School, Brevard Community College and Florida State University.
In high school and college she held numerous records for swimming and competed in gymnastics statewide as well as cheerleading.
In 1981 she married her high school sweetheart, Bert Francis. They have one son, Bert Francis III, who recently graduated from University of Central Florida with a degree in Accounting and is now pursuing his Masters in Business Administration. They lived in Brevard until October 2006 when they bought a house in Winter Springs.
Nancy previously worked for Premier Cruise Lines, Brevard County School Board and the Health First Foundation. She is now assisting the myregion.org team until February 2007. Her husband Bert is currently the CFO for LYNX and her son is employed as a Senior Accountant at UCF.
Nancy is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family snow skiing in Colorado, or traveling.
