As Central Florida continues its incredible growth, businesses and civic groups are finding that the only way to make our community stronger is by working together. Success is coming to organizations that ignore traditional borders and build relationships based on regional framework. To help develop and foster this ideal of growth without limits, the Regional Board of Advisors has been created.

We are at a moment of great prosperity and opportunity in Central Florida. The population of our region has grown from 400,000 in 1950 to 3.5 million today and we are projected to add an additional 4 million residents by 2050.
What will the future be like for our children and grandchildren? Will they enjoy economic prosperity and a high quality of life?

The decisions we make today will have a direct impact on their future.

Central Florida is currently in the middle of a 15-month campaign during which citizens, community leaders and elected officials are being asked "How Shall We Grow?" During 40 Community Input Sessions held across the seven-county region, more than 4,000 individuals have provided input on what matters most as we look toward our future growth.

This will be the first public glimpse into what has been discovered so far, and for the initial discussion on what "tough choices" will have to be made, to ensure that it is an obtainable future.

myregion.org - A Regional Development Program - is designed to bring together the business, government and civic leadership representing the seven-county Central Florida region to develop a regional agenda for thought and action to ensure Central Florida's success in the 21st century global marketplace.
