The September myregion.org e-newsletter highlighted Brevard Tomorrow and their annual community celebration. Brevard Tomorrow video “Charting Our Course…”
now available “On Demand” through Bright House Networks
Cocoa, FL – Brevard Tomorrow announced that its new, 30-minute, community video “Charting our Course for Brevard’s Tomorrow” can now be seen anytime on Bright House Networks digital cable through "Central Florida on Demand" channel 300. Through the end of November, Bright House Networks cable customers throughout the nine-county, central Florida region can view the program at a convenient time by simply selecting channel 300 and then the "local entertainment" category and "all titles". Viewers will see “Charting our Course…” as the first title listed.
Hosted by Lauren Rowe, television news anchor for WKMG – Local 6 the program features over 30 community, business and government leaders addressing the issues affecting Brevard County’s future, including Harris Corporation CEO Howard Lance, Parrish Medical Center President/CEO George Mikitarian and Brevard County Commissioner Sue Carlson. Key focus areas, including the community’s civic infrastructure, economy, educational systems, workforce availability, future land use, growth and government participation are discussed. The program also speaks to the need for the community to become a part of the strategic planning and implementation processes necessary for Brevard to achieve its ‘preferred future’.
“This is a great opportunity for the residents of the Space Coast to learn more about the Brevard Tomorrow program and how we, as a community are working together to shape our future,” said Brevard Tomorrow director, Geo Ropert. “We’re grateful to Bright House Networks for their support in making the “On Demand” viewing possible. The flexibility to choose a time to watch the program will help us reach many more people,” Ropert said.
Additional copies of “Charting our Course…” are available to interested businesses and organizations. Brevard Tomorrow presenters also are available to address these groups about the overall program, or specific issue areas.
