All of us have had a health professional take our vitals signs. They can tell us our strengths and point to areas of concern before they become major problems. As the leader of a Central Florida nonprofit organization, you need to know the vital signs of our community in order to access the strengths of your programs and areas of concerns for your organizations future.
Join the Rollins College Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership Center for Breakfast with the CEOs on May 20th from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. in the Galloway Room. Ray Larsen will present Measuring Our Vital Signs: The Central Florida Regional Indicators Report 2005.
For nonprofit organizations to serve the community most effectively, we must understand the trends most likely to influence public policy and the distribution of community resources in the coming years. myregion.org's recently published study, The Central Florida Regional Indicators Report 2005, provides a wealth of data that sheds new light on these trends. (For a sneak peak, go to www.myregion.org )
Policymakers and business leaders will use this data to develop regional strategies and chart a future course. Nonprofit leaders should also use the report's findings to better understand community needs and anticipate possible shifts in community funding priorities, so that we too may plan strategically to ensure our organizations' sustainability and relevance in the Central Florida of tomorrow.
The cost is $15 for Philanthropy Center Members and $25 for non-members. You can register online at www.pnlc.rollins.edu or call 407-975-6414 for a registration form. RSVP by May 17, 2005.
