Our nation has gone to war. Together, we face fears at home while we fight battles overseas. The future is uncertain, and, in many ways, frightening. Across America, millions are praying for the health, spiritual strength and the safe return of our men and women serving in the line of duty and for the protection of the innocent.

Last week, Governor Bush met with the Regional Domestic Security Task Force, co-chaired by Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary. They discussed the state’s domestic security preparedness as well as the need for Floridians to remain vigilant, while maintaining their daily routines.

"Florida has a solid domestic security strategy in place and its citizens and visitors should feel confident and reassured that Florida is safe. The public must continue with their everyday lives and not live in fear," said Governor Bush.

For that reason, we want to share and celebrate with you the achievements of the members of our leadership team showcased here. On behalf of our volunteers and staff, I congratulate these bright, dedicated professionals who have contributed their time, energy and talent to help build a better future for our region.
