 FUN FACTS
   
  There are seven counties being studied in the Central Florida region by myregion.org. Six were created between 1845 and 1887. The seventh-Seminole County-was created in 1913. Of the seven counties established in the region, all vary widely in terms of size, density, shape, total population and urban character. In addition, the seven counties in Central Florida account for 13.9% of the state’s land area and 19% of the state’s population.

Governor Jeb Bush is Coming to HobNob!

It’s official; Governor Jeb Bush has confirmed that he will be attending the 2002 Akerman Senterfitt/Sprint Regional HobNob, on Thursday, October 10, at Loch Haven Park.

This year’s event promises to be better than ever! Orange County Chairman Richard Crotty will serve as the emcee introducing the State’s Top Candidates, including Governor Jeb Bush! Take part in the Straw Ballot Poll using a new touch-screen voting system. Be one of the first to experiment with this new technology. Feast on great food, including Italian sausage, grilled chicken, hamburgers, veggie burgers, beer, soda and lots of extras. . .something for everyone.
