Congratulations!
Way to Go! Great Job

These and other exclamations of excitement could be heard in the halls and offices of the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council offices recently. And what could be the cause for all this enthusiasm?

Sandra Glenn, Executive Director of the Planning Council, has been named Citizen of the Year by VCARD, and her staff is celebrating! VCARD—Volusia County Area Regional Development—is an organization made up of developers and planners from throughout the county who come together to discuss innovative and creative ways to develop land in the area.

As head of the ECFRPC, Sandra has emphasized the importance of Central Florida communities working together and planning for the future, as evidenced by her involvement with myregion.org as a Funding Partner and a member of the CEO Roundtable. Additionally, Sandra has assigned key staff of the Planning Council to provide technical support and facilitate the implementation of recommendations developed during the course of the project.

“Our heartfelt congratulations to Sandra on behalf of myregion.org’s Leadership and Project teams. We applaud Sandra for her vision and her willingness to move our region forward. It is all about coming together, working together and staying together…as a region,” said Jacob V. Stuart, President of myregion.org and the Orlando Regional Chamber.
