I am so proud to be a part of MPI and specifically the Rocky Mountain Chapter. This has been an outstanding year for our Chapter and none of it would have been possible without your support.

Join MPIRMC for a Beach Party in Vegas!

This year’s World Education Congress (WEC) will be held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas from August 9 to August 12. In addition to top-notch educational offerings, the conference provides unparalleled networking opportunities, the best of which is the closing reception on Tuesday night. The locale for this fete is the Beach at Mandalay Bay and guests will be able to mix and mingle in their coolest beach attire while tasting the sumptuous offerings of some of the finest restaurants MGM Mirage has to offer. All the while, a live performance by STYX will fill the air with rockin’ vibes to keep the party hoppin’!

May Leader of the Month
The Meeting Professionals International Rocky Mountain Chapter recognizes a member each month for outstanding leadership abilities. Kathryn Schutz was named “LEADER OF THE MONTH” for May 2008 for our Chapter. This distinguished service award is indicative of her exceptional work. Kathryn is the chair of our MPIRMC 2008 Gala at the Wildlife Experience. She has been instrumental in leading the gala team this year. She has truly stepped up in helping to make this a huge success. She has worked very hard with the committee to make sure all timelines; details and sponsorships are completed in the right way. It is going to be a huge success due to her efforts. From her work of choosing the location, creating a theme with her team, decorations & the event flow, Kathryn has put in tireless hours on creating a very memorable event for our chapter. Her work ethic is amazing & she never says no. She engages her team & empowers them to do their best at all times. Kathryn is not afraid to pick-up the phone & secure sponsors because she truly believes this event showcases our chapter & its members. We appreciate Kathryn’s time & dedication to our organization.

The organization began in 1990 and created the Meetingjobs.com website in 1994 to serve the needs of meeting professionals. They currently host local job banks for a few other MPI chapters.
