McKinney Living will be asking its readers who are The Best!

We have come up with fifty different categories for our readers to "vote" for the businesses and places they think should be honored.  You may vote for one or vote for all.  You can vote on-line at www.McKinneyLiving.com.  We are only going to count one vote per person so you may want to get your customers and friends involved.  All ballots and votes must be received by 5:00 pm on Friday, July 31st.  We will publish the results and honor the winners in our October "Business" issue.  Then for the next year you can not only say you are #1, but you will be able to prove it!

Buy Local: Keep Your Neighbors Working
Think McKinney First When Making Purchases

You may not realize it, but when you’re making a local purchase you are not only acquiring a new product or service – you are also helping a McKinney business keep their doors open.

With the current downturn in the economy, keeping businesses open – and keeping jobs – is top of mind. While the North Texas region has weathered the economic storm better than most parts of the state, we are not completely immune to suffering the ills of a down economy. That’s why it’s important that we all do our part to be part of the cure.

When making a purchasing decision think local first. Keeping dollars circulating in McKinney will help build a vibrant community. It will help keep McKinney businesses operating and providing jobs to the local workforce.

A great place to find the business you are looking for is the Chamber’s Website – www.mckinneychamber.com. You can search our Member Directory by category to find the product or service you are looking for!
