Grand Tea and Cool Conversation!
Join the Women's Alliance of McKinney for a fun social event. Bring your friends, co-workers and potential WAM members to a grand tea at the Lavender House Tea Room, June 11th from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Network and have excellent food including an assortment of finger sandwiches, freshly baked warm scones served with Devonshire cream, lemon curd and preserves as well as Lavender House pastries and your choice of loose leaf tea.

Member Benefits
New Resident Welcome Bag Stuffing
The Chamber distributes 100 welcome bags monthly to new McKinney residents. They are delivered by IESI when new service is initiated. The following are the guidelines to participate in this program.
- Limit to 1 item per member (ex. 1 brochure, 1 promotional gift item or 1 flyer).
- Printed material should be no larger than 8½ x 11.
- Multiple pages of Company brochures/flyers are acceptable if secured as one piece and may not include advertising of other businesses.
- Bag stuffers must be delivered to the Chamber office the Thursday or Friday before the Monday stuffing date. (Stuffing date is usually the second Monday of the month, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
- Due to the storage and delivery of the bags and the heat, chocolate candy or other food items that could melt should not be included in your promotional items.
- The fee for participating in the monthly newcomer welcome packet is now $5/month if you are at the base rate of membership. Should you be at one of the other levels of membership, this benefit is included in your tier of membership.

12th Annual Chamber Golf Classic
Over 220 golfers participated in 12th Annual Chamber Golf Classic
The weather was great at this year's 12th Annual Chamber Golf Classic.
More than 220 golfers played at Stonebridge Country Club, The Dye Course on May 4. This year's first place team low gross was the Craig Ranch team consisting of Jeff Reinhard, Aaron Lane, Todd Harbour and Blake Arnold. The first place team low net was the Savannah Homes team consisting of Shea Byers, Tim Baumann, Steve King and Nathan Young.
The golf tournament is an annual fundraiser for the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. We would like to thank the following sponsors for their generous support.

Small Business Counseling: Every Wednesday at the Chamber
SCORE is pleased to announce Harry Polly as the new SCORE counselor assigned to the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. Harry has over 35 years of banking experience in commercial lending, asset-based financing and SBA lending. He will be available by appointment at the chamber office from 1:00 – 3:00 PM every Wednesday beginning June 3. To set an appointment call the chamber at 972-542-0163. SCORE is a non-profit volunteer agency of the Small Business Administration providing free, confidential and unbiased business counseling to start up and existing small businesses. SCORE will provide assistance to McKinney Chamber of Commerce members or anyone else that requires assistance in starting a new business or addressing the challenges of an existing business.
