Chamber breakfast to focus on new media
Learn how to incorporate social networking sites in your traditional marketing plan

Do you twitter? Updated your facebook profile? Are you LinkedIn? Technology continues to advance and your customers are somewhere out there in the Web 2.0 world. The question is how do you reach those potential clients and communicate your message using new forms of networking?

 

Find out from the experts at the next Good Morning McKinney, Friday, March 20th. Dennis O'Hagan, a featured speaker on social networking seminars, Justine Sweeney, president of Sweeney Media Group and Jackie Bese, Partner in Atomic Design and Consulting will not only explain what social networking sites are out there, but how you can use them to drive people to your website and gain new clients.

LINKS
This program is a weekly networking meeting designed to facilitate Chamber members in making new meaningful business contacts and offers a way for members to promote their business.

Breakfasts and Luncheons
These monthly events feature speakers and presentations to inform and educate our membership about issues that impact the community and our businesses.

Ambassador Program
These Chamber members serve as individual representatives of the Chamber throughout the community, at ribbon cutting celebrations, Chamber events, new member telephone calls and customer service visits.

Publications
Use our monthly e-newsletter, McKinney Business Focus and our annual Relocation & Business Resource Guide as a tool to build relationships.  You may call or write new members or use specific category listings to target potential customers.

Women's Alliance of McKinney
This organization fosters leadership by offering programs and opportunities to empower, promote and support women in business.  Membership events are every other month.  To join WAM, there is an additional $30 fee.

McKinney Young Professionals
As one of the developing Chamber programs, this committee meets monthly for a business after hours to network and build positive business relationships.  This group focuses on supporting the young professionals in McKinney.  This year, they will focus on various professional development training and events.

Export-Import Bank of the United States
Keynote Luncheon

The Export-Import Bank of the United States will be having a luncheon on Friday, March 13 with John Richter, Senior Vice President, Small Business of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.  Mr. Richter will address the United States' global competitiveness and the role of small business exporters in the future for the U.S. economy.
