In December 2004, HCMA President, Lisa Salberg, visted the Cleveland Clinic. During this visit she was able to witness a myectomy. This is article is not only a look at the Cleveland Clinic, it is a look at HCM and myectomy in a new and interesting way.

In this "Point - Counter Point" article from JACC a case is made as to why surgical myectomy remains the "Gold Standard" dor spetal reduction.
