New Monthly CPE Brochure
If you have elected to receive the printed Forum, you should have already received your new monthly CPA CPE Circular brochure in the mail. As many businesses have, the Houston CPA Society has tightened it's belt – and budget - and elected to migrate to a bi-monthly printed newsletter and a monthly CPE brochure. The online enewsletter – eForum – will continue to be distributed monthly. If you should have any questions or comments about the Society's amended newsletter policy, please contact Forum Editor Elyse Turla at the Society office (713.622.7733; eturla@houstoncpa.org).

New .NET Web Site Coming Soon
The Society's Information Technology Committee and Communications Manager Elyse Turla have been working diligently for the most part of a year on the design and implementation of a new Houston CPA Society web presence that is fully integrated with the Society's association management software. The new site will feature "real time" event registration and member record updates submitted by member users. There will also be a Public Home Page featuring a member marketing video and a Member Home Page (accessible with a member login) showing the users database profile. Committee pages and the Society Cinema, a collection of committee-related videos, are also new to the site. All members will receive an email announcement in the not too distant future when the new web site goes live. Watch your email and let us know what you think!
