Help Us Help YOU!
There are many ways you can help the Houston and Texas Societies serve you more efficiently.

  1. Volunteer For Committee Service. Be a part of the finely tuned machine we call the Houston CPA Society. Help uphold our sterling reputation for quality CPE, dedicated community service, and a growing leadership position. One of the Society's 29 "open" committees is just right for you! Visit the Society web site at www.houstoncpa.org and make your choice from the committees listed in the About Us section. Then complete and return the convenient Committee Volunteer Form.

  2. Register For Meetings and CPE Early. Advance payment is required to guarantee your registration. Secure your seat by remitting your registration fees along with your registration form. Register online through the TSCPA (www.tscpa.org) or Houston CPA Society (www.houstoncpa.org) secure Web sites.

  3. Read Your Newsletter. The newsletter is published as the most effective means of communicating with the membership, and is available by print mail, by email, and through a downloadable file on the Society Web site. Over 90% of current Houston CPA Society members are receiving the newsletter online. The eForum is distributed the first Tuesday of each month, while the bi-monthly printed Forum is mailed the last day of the month preceding publication. Keep up to date on upcoming events, issues of interest to the profession, member news, member benefits, volunteer opportunities and committee activities. Review the display and classified advertisements to learn of products and services available to you. Provide the Society with a valid email address to receive the monthly enewsletter. If your record contains an email address, and you have not requested a printed copy, you are receiving the eForum ONLY!

  4. Browse The Society Web Site. Bookmark (add to Favorites) www.houstoncpa.org and have Society leadership and committee information; a CPE/Events Calendar with secure online registration; complete monthly newsletters; helpful reference links; a career center; and more at your fingertips! Have we missed anything? Suggestions for improvements to the web site are always welcome. Send your comments to cpamail@houstoncpa.org for consideration by the Information Technology Committee.
