TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More
by Ryan Hellman
Summer is a beautiful time in Colorado full of outdoor activities like hiking, boating, fishing, biking and camping, but as I write this I am bundled up in a jacket watching my 13 year old son play hockey in an ice rink where the temperature is in the low 50’s. He is involved in a weekly Sunday night pickup game where the players range from 13 to 50! The difference in age is shared in skill as well, but all are engaged with a strong commitment of TEAM founded by respect and love for the game. Watching the intense game reminds me of how similar it is to achieving success in business. The GAME binds a diverse group of individuals with creativity, structure and drive where they produce a product or deliver a service to achieve success while creating both individual and team fulfillment. This same mixture is what can define and create success with your safety program and culture.
