Spotlight on Brian O'Malley
H&A Consultant Extraordinaire!

Spotlight on Brian O’Malley,
 
Who travels to India, scales mountains in Bolivia, works full-time and earns a coveted certification as a safety professional all in eight months?  That would be our Brian O’Malley who clients and colleagues know as a man of integrity, humor and professionalism.  
 
Brian’s current and previous work activities concentrate on providing safety training, program development and compliance auditing in the construction, manufacturing and service industries. His past experience included program management in hazard recognition-evaluation-control, specific craft training, ergonomics and EHS program management. He has performed Industrial Hygiene assessment related to noise, airborne particulate and chemical exposures. With extensive experience in investigating workplace accidents/incidents and making recommendations for prevention, he has been involved in OSHA and State Health Department compliance investigations in general industry and construction.  Brian also has experience providing Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessments encompassing building occupant complaint investigations, mold assessments and abatement specifications, bioaerosol monitoring for fungi and bacteria and additional chemical, building product and system investigations. This includes designing project specifications for the removal of microbial growth on building materials or the removal and replacement of impacted building materials. 
 
He has earned a Master of Science, Environmental Health Management, from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science, Environmental Health, from Colorado State University.
 
Brian O’Malley’s clients and colleagues have first-hand experience with his integrity and skillful application of his safety and health experience.  His commitment to his clients, community volunteerism, and dedication to the H&A Team are also extraordinary.
