The Chamber is gearing up to begin another round of the popular Business by Referrals series starting September 10. This group meets every other Wednesday over lunch for 3 months (6 sessions total) in the Chamber boardroom, and it incorporates educational tools to help professionals meet their sales goals. Calling All Small Business Volunteers
Do you want to have a voice in the small business programs facilitated by the Austin Chamber of Commerce? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. We are forming a new Small Business Council that will help provide the Chamber with an objective viewpoint on what programs would benefit our members with 50 employess or less. This council will meet quarterly and report to the Small Business Task Force with their findings. Plan Ahead for Labor Day Downtown Event Traffic
Central Austin will come to life over Labor Day weekend as numerous events attract people to the area. City officials have initiated several programs to address traffic and crowd concerns, as these events will have sizeable attendance.
