The 2009 FEPA Summer Conference is Coming!

Mark your calendar to attend the 2009 FEPA Summer Conference, to be held July 15-17, 2009 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.

Only 76 days until the 2009 FEPA Summer Conference!  This Conference, now in its 20th year, has established itself as Florida's premier event for learning about recent developments in the Florida energy pipeline market and is a must for anyone interested in networking with the many individuals and entities involved in this industry.

FEPA has secured a room block at the Omni Orlando Resort at the special rate of $169/night.  Make your reservations as soon as possible; call 1-800-THE-OMNI and identify yourself with the Florida Energy Pipeline Association.  Deadline for this rate is June 22 or earlier if the room block is filled, so don’t delay.

Once again, FEPA is providing a quality conference experience at a reasonable registration fee!  Registration is easy using our printable form; online registration and payment opportunities will be available soon and linked from the FEPA website.

Sponsorship Available. If you are interested in joining early supporters such as Gulfstream Natural Gas System; El Paso; Harris, Harris, Bauerle & Sharma; Progressive Pipeline Company; and Akerman Senterfitt
as a sponsor of the largest annual gathering of energy pipeline professionals serving Florida, contact Rob Wilson, Capitol Energy Florida at the number below.

A complete agenda will be available soon on the FEPA website. This year’s conference educational sessions will include timely information from key industry professionals, including Christina Johnson, President of On 3 Public Relations, LLC discussing energy project NIMBY issues; Joe Mataich, CATS Project Manager, providing a USDOT/PHMSA update; Sarah Rogers, President and CEO of the Florida Reliability Coordinating Council presenting an overview of Florida electric utility Ten Year Site Plans; and E. Russell Braziel, Vice President, Marketing and Sales Chief Technology Officer for BENTEK Energy will review gulf coast energy market dynamics and fuel trends.

Member & Non-member Exhibitors welcome!  Rosen Inspection, Eagle/SWS, Capitol Energy Florida, PBS&J, NSpec, GES, AECOM Environment, American Government Services, Liberty PL Services, Paradigm and Pipe Viper LLC have already reserved their exhibitor spaces.  Our exhibitor area is located in the center of all conference activities, and the site of the highly attended vendor reception.  As an added bonus, the exhibitor fee is waived for FEPA members with a conference registration.  Space is limited to a first-come, first-served basis, so don't delay.

Also during the conference, don’t miss the annual FEPA Golf Tournament.  This year's scramble will be played on Omni Orlando Resort’s National Golf Course. This is a relaxed fun event for all. With a shotgun start and playing best ball, this tournament is designed for all levels - whether you are up on your game or a weekend player.

Not a golfer?  Not a problem.  Join us for the popular Welcome Reception on July 15 and the Exhibitor Reception and Awards ceremony July 16.  At both events you'll have a chance to catch-up with old acquaintances and make new contacts.

The 2009 FEPA conference has something for every attendee. Bring the family and let them enjoy the trip too: see links for more Orlando area fun.
