Florida has adequately planned to have enough energy for the next decade, the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) found during a recent 10 year site plan workshop. The study, conducted annually by the PSC’s Reliability Coordinating Council, measured load and resource planning, natural gas storage and transmission planning and did not anticipate any major issues. The major utility companies submitted their own 10 year plans this spring, which the PSC utilized in surveying the statewide electric capability.
