Northern Colorado Resource Fair Connects Business with NonProfit Community
Linda and Midge share a mutual passion for the nonprofit community and have dedicated many hours to their mission of assisting nonprofit organizations to reach their goals and maximize community impact.Linda Hughey states, “Often, nonprofit organizations approach the business community requesting financial support and in-kind services without reciprocity. We are working to change this paradigm by encouraging mutually beneficial relationships between businesses and nonprofit organizations that will best meet the needs of the community. We determined the best way to approach the issue is by bringing both entities together in one convenient location to encourage conversation and open dialogue about their individual challenges and needs.”
The Northern Colorado Resource Fair provides the opportunity for discussions about how businesses and the nonprofit community can collaborate and work together to increase community impact and sustainability for the future.Midge and Linda agree that supporting and promoting collaboration creates a positive impact for the business and nonprofit organization, which in turn strengthens the communities represented.
