The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has completed an evaluation of the Chamber Bylaws and will consider adopting changes to the Bylaws at its December 1 Board meeting. The Board reviewed the changes at its October 19 meeting.
The changes are primarily administrative with updates to language and format but also include modifications to removal of Board members. Click to the next page for more details.
According to the current Bylaws, after the proposed changes are presented to the Board, the membership is to be advised that changes are pending and that the proposed changes are available for review for a 20-day period. After that 20-day period, the Board will vote on the changes at its next regular meeting and the Bylaws will be amended by a vote of two-thirds of those present and voting at the regular meeting.
