Gluten-Free, Protein Rich and Deelish! Quinoa is a grain familiar to people some parts of South America, and available in good health food stores, or online.  It has a nutty taste, is easy to cook, and very nutritious.  What a wonderful way to serve the fresh berries of summer…well, winter, spring and fall, too, it is a TREAT.
 

The following prayer is often repeated at John of God’s sanctuary in Brazil at the start of prayer and meditation to inspire us to open our hearts.  It is one of a book of prayers available for free download from the webpage listed above, under the title.  All of these prayers are ecumenical: for all people, of all cultures, and philosophies.  Saying this particular prayer can give us strength and hope as we rededicate ourselves to spiritual values and aspirations.  It’s a good idea to keep our thoughts on the positive now, and where we want to go.
